Granny Flats: Western Australia Fact Sheet
In response to the current real estate market, Western Australia has introduced relaxed amendments to the Residential Design Codes, making changes to the requirements of ancillary dwellings, more commonly known as granny flats. The amended State Planning Policy 7.3 is now in effect, with changes to the code regarding ancillary dwellings outlined below.
