In November 2023, we commenced work at 125 Murray St. which had undergone a full refurbishment in 2019 after standing vacant for many years. We were thrilled to create a space where Aussie Home Loans Perth office would feel right at home in their new head office.

The space, having been de-fit, was ready for immediate work. With an existing floor plate of 350sqm, Aussie Home Loans had the flexibility to design their office to exact specifications. This is inclusive of breakout and meeting rooms, zoom pods, flexible workstations, and a new kitchen.

November 2023: Project Kickoff

With the space prepped and ready, we began the transformation process. The existing floor plan allowed Aussie Home Loans to tailor the design to their needs, ensuring a productive and welcoming environment. Key features included breakout areas, meeting rooms, zoom pods, flexible workstations, and a modern kitchen.

December 2023: Preparation and Infrastructure

Wall and floor preparation started with grinding the concrete floors and sandblasting exposed brickwork to remove imperfections and create a smooth, level surface. Then, we began installing suspended ceiling services, including electrical, fire safety, HVAC, and security systems. The aim was to ensure accessibility and safety before erecting the walls.

January 2024: Structural Development

Framing for meeting rooms and offices began, integrating a modern mix of co-working and individual work areas. The design included zoom pods, conference rooms, and individual workstations, offering exceptional flexibility to staff and clients. These clever layouts featuring mixed-use areas, ensures the office can adapt and grow with its tenants.

February 2024: Internal Construction

We installed Gyprock walls and ceilings, along with internal windows and doors, bringing the design to life. Aussie Home Loans utilised windows and custom cabinetry to divide the space without compromising the open-air feel. Once the walls were erected, carpeting was laid in designated rooms and protected while painting is in progress.

March 2024: Final Touches and Completion

Lastly, with painting completed, we installed the final fixtures, and included the custom joinery, curtains, feature lighting, and workstations. Then, the space began to reflect the Aussie Home Loans brand identity. The project culminated with the completion of the Aussie Home Loans Perth office, a space designed for growth, flexibility, and productivity.
